It's a new year β a nice time to reflect and focus on goals for 2023, and I'm wondering what's on everyone's agenda.
So, what's your main focus for 2023? What do you want to achieve? Let's share our plans/ambitions/dreams and create a little thread full of inspiration and encouragement. Bonus: we can review it next year in 2024 :)

Mostly the same as many years before, but this time I haven't already failed one week in: Cooking and eating actual food instead of garbage, regular exercise, and keeping a much cleaner and more orderly home. New this year: I would like to appreciate and create art, also outside of cyberspace. Will be visiting museums when I can and perhaps take an in-person painting class! Β· 2 years ago
Themes:
Planning: Make good and achievable plans for the future
Employment: Find a new job (career?)
Study: Whether formally or informally, learn something new and useful
Grace: Above all, give yourself the space and time to work, not demanding immediate results from yourself

theme 1: moderation: less, but better. applies to eating habits and especially to sugar consumption. i quiet alcohol last year and this year it shall be added sugar that has to give.
theme 2: nature and creativity. i will spend even more time in nature and build and create. getting everything ready to build a home in the mountains in a few years.
as every year: be kind to my future self and set aside money for old age. Β· 2 years ago
2023 will be literally a new me. Starting my own bussiness day 1 and already making a roadmap for my company. I will invest more in myself and knowledge that I really want and find useful instead preparing myself for the a job that I will not like. Let's go! Β· 2 years ago
have my home built, established in aviation instructor role, achive a mental balance with infirm relative care duties (so far very de-stabilizing) , swim more, run more, create more:-) oh, and get laid more:-) or at all lol Β· 2 years ago
2023 is mostly a self-improvement year for me: so, saving as much money as possible (so I can travel next year), pushing to the next level in the gym, becoming conversational in Spanish, and I'd like to go to a few international Esperanto events to keep my Esperanto sharp and hang out with some crazy friends. My big professional goal is to release the language-learning app I've been building for the past year. There's a few things left to do before I can get it into the public feedback loop and start to iterate. π Β· 2 years ago
