Reflecting on an amazing year and I'm thankful for so many things. Here are some short (subjective) observations from "life" so far.

8/8 The same perspectives aren't always useful in a changing world. Stay open-minded. · 2 years ago

7/8 People you love won't be here long (just as you too won't). See that more often (negative visualisation) and you'll be more connected to life, and to those people. · 2 years ago

5/8 Fail. More specifically, do things that take you to failure – that's where the most growth happens, in every sense. · 2 years ago

4/8 Spend time around people that make you feel alive. Life is short. It doesn't make sense to live it at half the pace. Fill it. Taste everything. Dream, then work for them. Share those character-defining moments with people who love you. · 2 years ago

3/8 Health is fundamental. Don't just look after it, continuously improve it. Improving your health is improving every single other thing about yourself by consequence. · 2 years ago

2/8 Attention is a valuable gift. If people give it to you, appreciate it and give it back. Don't give it to everybody, choose carefully – time only ticks down. · 2 years ago

1/8 Hapiness is not the goal – peace is. You can't always be happy, and happiness is only meaningful in the context of knowing sadness. True inner peace is always achievable, and forces you to embrace that at times you may be ecstatic, at others your very lowest, but always accepting of both and of their impermanence. · 2 years ago
