Depending on the app I use AppImage as well. On Flatpak I take a look, who maintained this package. If it is the original dev, than I trust Flatpak. If it is another person I try to get more information and sometimes take the AppImage instead. I try to let the filesystem to stay as original as possible, so the next Fedora upgrade is working fine. ยท 2 years ago

Lagrange is a remarkable piece of kit. Nothing like it in the space, and comparable to top level HTTP browsers, without (of course) all the cruft. I wish @skyjake could spin off some commandline tools to enable other Gemini devs to build on that magic. For example, a tool for parsing gemtext that outputs JSON. A module to do TLS. Every thing Lagrange does well, break it off into a specific tool. That could energize the dev space by lowering the barrier to entry. ยท 2 years ago
