@willowf IPA means Isopropyl Alcohol. Other names include isopropanol, rubbing alcohol.
IPA is preferred for cleaning electronics due to its ability to dissolve corrosion, remove solder flux, and its high vapor pressure which leads to fast drying. This high vapor pressure allows it to be used after a water-based final rinse in electronics cleaning so the electronics can be used without a prolonged drying time. · 1 year ago
