I'm probably pretty late with this, but... Woah, this Duckling Proxy is pretty cool! @Acidus setup a public instance at stargate.gemi.dev:1994
Then, in Lagrange's preferences, go to the Network tab, and put that url into the "http proxy" part. Now, whenever you put in an http url, or click an http url, it will automatically use that proxy to proxy http to gemini!

Yes, there is a choice of either stargate.gemi.dev:1994 or 185.247.226.61:1966 via gemini://phreedom.club/ capsule. 路 2 years ago
glad you're all enjoying it - there are a few improvements needed but even in is current form it helps to "quieten" the chaos of the web 路 2 years ago

@smokey ofc man! yr guide rly helped me a lot, as a fun aside + understanding net apps n go programs more. i had to pass the savings down. to em 路 2 years ago
@smokey That's true. I've also have been off gemini for months at a time periodically in the past 3 years, so that's also probably why I miss so many cool projects. 路 2 years ago
Its kind of cool how certain projects can just kind of avoid your radar for months and years only to randomly stumble upon it one day. @superfxchip thanks for the shoutout :P 路 2 years ago
@superfxchip Thanks! 路 2 years ago
If you wanna run your own instance w.o sending traffic thru acidus' proxy, you can follow this guide by @smokey to set it up. I been surfin' MP3 indexes over gemini w/ it running antix on VM and it's been sooo much fun. Find it here. gemini://tilde.team/~smokey/logs/2022-05-24-duckling-guide.gmi 路 2 years ago
