Encouraging different approaches is extremely valuable. There shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all client, because that would skew power balance like has happened with web browsers.
Any approach has its strengths and weaknesses, and people have many different technical and non-technical requirements. Everyone benefits if there are many options, some large and some small, optimized for specific environments and use cases. · 3 years ago
