Where I live we have a bunch of weird laws that are fortunately not enforced:
A man with a moustache cannot kiss a woman in public
In one city, the fire department must practice fire fighting 15 minutes before attending a fire
In another city, a man cannot wink at a women he does not know, within corporate limits of the city.
A kiss cannot last longer than 5 minutes
One-armed piano players must perform for free
Ministers must have a permit to carry liquor across state lines
You cannot read a person's palms within city limits of one of the cities.

@eph I don't really see that. They're an abuse of power, imo. And some of them - the firefighting one - are just plain dangerous. 路 2 years ago

Where i live a crossbow is not a weapon, but it is equal to a weapon. But... is is declared as a weapon you don't shoot with %) 路 2 years ago
@freezr In the US. Honestly, what worries me is not that these laws still exist (even though unenforced), but rather how they became laws in the first place. Many of them are city laws, and some are state laws. 路 2 years ago
