i wish this got more responses. I'm actually in the middle of trying to fashion together a gemini:// serving icecast link I just wish I knew how to get the header to read through. When I stream and try to access the stream mount via gemini, it says incomplete header but everything else reads fine. hmmm 路 1 year ago
@jo Well, Gemini as a protocol isn't designed for streaming audio nor video, as far as I know. Then, streaming goes under its own protocol... the HTTP access you usually see is a way the stream server has to allow people to connect through JS or some web technology to the streaming protocol and then connect.
To be honest, I don't think you can get a gemini:// link that will make some music play in your Gemini browser. 路 1 year ago

What do you mean? Streaming audio over Gemini protocol or having a normal icecast/shoutcast stream? I do have an icecast stream set up myself. 路 1 year ago
