An addendum that didn't make it into the article: adtech is hilariously bad. The best profiling money can buy somehow managed to get my age and sex wrong, and they only got my interests correct because they guessed so many times it's hard to plausibly find a human that don't have interests in any of the guesses. · 3 years ago
