Reading Brian Kernighan's "UNIX: A History and a Memoir"...in 1963 when he saw his first computer ever it was University of Toronto's IBM 7094. A behemoth with a then whopping 128KB of RAM for the cool price of $3 million ($26 million in today dollars).
