How do ya'll go about developing a creative project?
I feel like I'm headed in the right direction with an art project but I'm not sure how to go about deepening it into something I'm happy with.
Just curious about your processes.

It starts with an idea, but also the freedom to make mistakes and to travel where your mind goes. The idea may be 'a dragon made from wire that functions as a hair-pin' but as you sketch it it morphs from wire sculpture to engraved on a metal plate, and from a hair-pin to a sort of bracelet. And a dozen more variations again before picking one to go with, and as it's made the design shifts again to reflect the 'mistakes' made or the limitations of tools/equipment available.
