Apropos nothing, here's some free advice:

if you put dry ice into coffee, you'll get pretty spectacular looking fog bubbles, but also: the coffee will be cold and carbonated.

@greg - that sounds really fun. I bet it'd be a great party trick too, or make for a neat-looking cocktail at a bar somewhere. 路 1 month ago

@half_elf_monk it carbonated all on its own, no external pressure vessel or similar required.

It wasn't like a fresh bottle of cola though, more like one that's been open for a day or so and feels almost, but not quite, flat.

I bet if you seal this up a bit (not too much though or you'll get yourself a caffeinated dry ice bomb), you could get pretty far. 路 1 month ago

I find carbonated coffee taste very acidic. I prefer to nitrogenate my cold brew. 路 1 month ago

Fun! Did you have to keep the coffee in an airtight container to carbonate it? Or was it carbonated/bubbly all on its own? 路 1 month ago
