I really like the simplicity of Station over BBS; that said, there are two things the I would really love to have here:

A way to sort replies from oldest to newest so I can scroll down and read them in the correct order as opposed to having to scold all the way to the bottom and the go up.

A link that takes me back to either the previous page or to the home page instead of taking me back my feed. I know the back link would be harder because there is no JS or state available, but I think it could be a simple workaround by providing a back link as a query parameter 🤔

I do agree with you that there should be a link to get to the station home page on your user profile. Since at the moment, It's impossible to navigate out of the page without editing the address. · 2 weeks ago

I'm sorry, but I am very opposed to having a back link as a query parameter. My theory is that from any page of a website you should be able to use links to any other page, without using any back buttons or editing the address bar. However, clients SHOULD provide a way for navigating to the last page to make navigation quicker. · 2 weeks ago

@jmcs I’m using Lagrange. I guess I was not clear about the return link. The browser back functionality works fine, what I am talking about is the “👈 Back to feed” link in the “Actions” section. I would like to have a return link instead of having to use the browser button (or gesture). Not a big deal though.

@darkghost yeah, I either end up using the back button/gesture or root link as well. Some days I’m just lazier than usual. · 2 weeks ago

Yeah I use the root link to go back. The most recent reply first always throws me as well. · 2 weeks ago

what client are you using? I thought the links to "root" and to "parent" were some sort of "standard" in clients (checked lagrange and deedum in my phone), but it's not in amfora · 2 weeks ago
