I recently re-read one of my favourite technical books today: Ed Mastery by Michael W Lucas. It is a short, tongue-in-cheek, guide to ed, the standard UNIX text editor. Well worth a read for anyone that spends their days in a posix shell. Anyone else have a favourite technical book, about coding or any other discipline?

Having just read the book's intro, it really does seem like classic. Makes me realise how different the work of devs and admins used to be compared with today; though still by no means the same skillset · 2 years ago
