@m0xee I was running PostmarketOS on a OnePlus 6T but then VoLTE became a hard requirement of my mobile/cell carrier which it (PMOS) doesn't support yet. GrapheneOS appears to be the ONLY FOSS mobile OS that supports VoLTE without major upgrade workflows involving having to flash stock Android firmware before reflashing your FOSS offering. So with no small amount of irony I basically had to buy a Pixel. My only real issue with the Pixel/GrapheneOS combo (besides PMOS having been actual full Linux in my pocket) is my banking app won't run on it. Despite the website being usable on the mobile they deem not secure enough due to the custom OS. · 1 week ago

@dk I've never used it myself as it only runs on Pixel phones and I don't want to own anything by Google.
It's basically security hardened Android — very security-hardened, with greater app isolation and finer-grained access control. TBH, to me this feels more Android than Android itself 😅 · 1 week ago
