the country i live in doesn鈥檛 let me vote (yet) and i could not be happier. they have the choice between a clinically dead candidate, a convicted criminal and an alleged nutjob. tough one!
i wonder what the winning move here is for the ordinary citizen? pick a side and get all worked up? disengage entirely for a life in peace?

i did not know that one can write in some rando鈥檚 name. that鈥檚 funny! you can go show that you believe in voting but not in any candidate. and maybe even write your own name in. 路 5 months ago
It's a tough one. I deeply hate both mainstream candidates and while I do kinda like the nutjob, he's a little too out there and nobody will take him seriously with his voice. I'm probably voting Oblivious Old Man, Nutjob, or writing in someone else, tbh. 路 5 months ago
I'd say vote for the least worst one which you unhate the most. Otherwise, I'd say spoil or vote none-of-the-above.
However, if this is America we're talking about (which I would assume it is), I would personally be trying to move to either Canada or Mexico.
Emphasis on "personally", here. I have noticed that I tend to treat unwinnable politics by considering emigrating, and this isn't exactly a viable solution for most people. 路 5 months ago
Best description yet,
I don't know, my dad use to say "You can always tell when a politician is lying... Because they're moving their mouth" 路 5 months ago
