tried to pull a utility trailer uphill on the questionable dirt road. spent the rest of the day recovering the trailer and secure my jeep. we definitely need a new road. if only the fire code wouldn’t be so damn strict. can’t see yet where we could cut a compliant road. this is going to cost me a fortune…

I bought an old imported Yanmar tractor (all the writing is in Japanese) and a box blade. just knocked out a basic road in a weekend! Seconding that recommendation.. · 1 year ago

Time to start tractor shopping?

Our roads are 4x4 only, but neighbors who own back hoes have to drive through us to get to the pavement so there is a built in motivation to keep things somewhat passable. · 1 year ago
