I鈥檓 starting to have a much easier time understanding videos in Italian now. I was watching a clip of a Simpsons video in Italian that someone shared, and I understood about 90% of it without subtitles or needing to rewind! I can understand most native content, too. Been watching a few tech\history videos lately.

It鈥檚 not *that* simple. You have to figure out conjunctives, where and when to use ne and ci, and grammar aside, understand those who speak at lightning speed! 路 2 years ago

At one time, I tried to learn Spanish. After English, Spanish phonetics (bait) is very simple, but Spanish grammar (trap) is really hard. 路 2 years ago

@cobradile94 It's strange, I haven't studied but heard about Italian grammar as the simplest of all (Western) European languages. 路 2 years ago

@astroseneca Italian? I mean, it has some pretty complex grammar rules that took me years to get to grips with. Not to mention how fast some people can speak it! 路 2 years ago

Apparently, this would make sense as the easiest language among and for Europeans to learn instead of some Esperanto. 路 2 years ago
