AuraGem has been switched over to a completely new server implementation!
AuraGem's gemini and nex servers now run on my Smallnet Information Services (aka. SIS) server. While the project is not completely ready for an official release, it was ready enough to use in production for AuraGem.
On the front-end, not much has changed, except for one additional features of the gemini server being proxied over nex (although this is still a WIP).
Eventually all of my misfin-server software will also be moved over to SIS. I am also working on Gopher support, as well as Spartan support for SIS.

I forgot, this new server implementation is a little bit more secure: it has rate limiting and IP blocking. Timeouts and other security features will also be implemented soon. · 9 months ago
