By sheer luck I found gemini just a few weeks ago. This space really feels like an oasis in the desert which is the web today.

Hm... interesting analogy. I would say it's more like the desert - relating it to the desert fathers and mothers (monastics) who escaped the cities to move to the desert as a reaction towards Christianity becoming more associated with the state of Rome. :D · 3 years ago
