@chime_23 while I don't agree with some ethical practices of OpenAI and ChatGPT, I don't think it's spying on you if you only give it info if you want. Not like the everywhere-like-it-or-not of Google and friends, where you have to struggle to not be spied on. · 2 years ago
Remember when we had to worry about every site tracking everything we do, and selling our information to advertisers? How quaint. Now we have Chat GPT, a centralized surveillance service to do that. Everything you do and say and want stuffed into one massive brain. How happy Chat GPT is smiling in its server farm, waiting for us to type in our dreams and desires, which it fulfills at a moments notice--unless you've got the wrong dreams and desires! The whole internet its plaything, every site just another opportunity to interact with YOU! What joy! Make sure to sell your tweets, images and fact-checked essays to Bing for Chat GPT to use. Totally agreed. Had some really good fun a couple weeks ago by getting together with people and making ChatGPT write a ridiculous story scene by scene. The trivia game is a good idea, I'll have to try that! · 2 years ago
