I've release gtl (cli/tui app for gemini tinylogs) v0.4.3 tonight.
To be honest, I'm quite happy about the speed and the TUI so far :) You can too join the microblogger club :]

Hi Bacardi, I replied to Codeberg ;-) Β· 3 years ago
That's an interesting topic⦠Language is part of gemini protocol, at the gemini page level.
Are you suggesting that we tag each *entries* of tinylogs with language? To be honnest I don't think that would work because it would just make author repeat each time the language for the entry (the date format is already "painful enough").
I would think that user could have entries in any languages, that would be more to the client to ignore unwanted language? Or a user could have 1 tinylog per language if he doesn't want to mix it upβ¦
I'm creating an issue in the RFC project to highlight this, thanks a lot for your feedback :) Β· 3 years ago
I wandered around the codeberg pages, and I took a look, I was also checking by myself the original tinylog (as a matter of fact there is a link on my capsule).
I feel there is something important missing. I would say language support but basically it would be cool implementing some grouping functionality in order to communicate with specific groups only.
For instance I speak daily three languages hence if I want writing down something in Spanish rather than English and I like to exchange my post only with the Spanish fellows.
But language it is just an example, it would be the same for any specific group you may need to create, but doing just something specific for the language because it is somehow already in the specification it would be cool the same! Β· 3 years ago
Nice! I look forward to try it ASAP!!! πππ Β· 3 years ago
