Hi alamaember, I like listening to rock. Particularly symphonic stuff but i also like progressive, Pink Floyd and Tool are some of my favorite rock bands. Some days i like the hard stuff like Disturbed and Thousand Foot Krutch but ive slowly been moving away from the loud angry stuff more and more as i get older and less edgy. I also like listening to instrumental/orchestral stuff. There are many game and tv OSTs i listen to a ton. Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy (tv shows), and Nier Automata (game) have some of the best sounding tracks ive ever heard. Beyond that i also like electronic music. One of my guilty pleasures is rap, but only when im in the mood for it. 路 3 years ago
A big chunk of my music is a very specific genre which has no name but is described as "some other song but with the lyrics changed to become train station names and sung by a Vocaloid or equivalent software". 路 3 years ago
@almaember it's usually described as indie rock or slowcore. The past few albums they've been doing a lot of cool things with distortion effects. @lykso Boards of Canada is great! I need to relisten to their stuff. 路 3 years ago
