Mesa (on AMD) in Alpine’s edge repository has been a little bit fussy since yesterday and GUI apps are mostly non-functional 😝. Well, that’s edge for you… But ttys are still working and I have my work-and-spare machine on Debian stable so this is minor inconvenience for me.

@aelspire as a former sysadmin for the big irons I'd never do anything without live backup/snapshots ;) even for i am out of the buisness, i still have around 10 boxes at home. never go without a good backup/spare parts/documentation. · 2 months ago
@bavarianbarbarian on server/work-machine/only-one-machine yeah, using rolling release is bitey.
On the other hand, on spare-machine/fun-time-machine using rolling or even bleeding-edge dirstro is low stake, just remember about backups! · 2 months ago
