I have a young daughter who used to like Disney's film "Frozen". One of the lines is where the snowman tells Anna "You're a princess, you don't have to settle." Alas, people who aren't princesses must settle.
I ran into a brick wall trying to get my OpenLisp packages to work, so switched back to CL. CoreLisp would involve just a little too much writing of glue, which I try to avoid. Oh well, it's just down to my discipline now to produce anything and not get sucked into yak-shaving by learning OpenGL or something.
In other news, VFX Forth is great, but I think I prefer CL after all.
