Anime

I really enjoy more moe focused slice of life stories, typically ones that know how to tell a good joke. Some shows I think are great and that you should watch:

• Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
• Hidamari Sketch
• Kizumonogatari
• Katanagatari
• Serial Experiments Lain

I really watch the medium for the animation itself, seeing creative ways of expressing characters. I also enjoy the more techincal marvel of high motion and action shots but I find it less important for my own enjoyment. I particularly like Akiyuki Shinbo's directing style, and like how Hiroyuki Imaishi does commedic animation.
