Real-world math

The math behind that particular question is kinda meh;

but as it turns out, the only practically useful math in the real world is the meh kind.

The real world isn't gonna ask you to prove the Collatz Conjecture,

or solve the Riemann Equation.

It's gonna ask you the most appropriate angle for the bow of a ship based on its weight, size and speed.

It's gonna ask you how hot your car's brakes are gonna get if you slam on emergency brakes at 50 km/h.

It's gonna ask you how much keyboard flex your laptop is gonna have,

if you make it out of 5% thinner aluminium sheets to save on money.

It's gonna ask you how much money you're spending on subscription services without realising.

So yeah

real-world math is boring;

but it's necessary,

and I must do it no matter how much I loathe it.
