A few days ago, ichi's link has been shared on a popular internet forum. Which is great! But to say the least, ichi wasn't ready to receive such a huge influx of users. It's a little like hosting a huge party at a house you've just finished renovating. Regardless, it's been an incredible experience to get ichi so much exposure. However at its core, ichi's been thought as a tiny community. A tiny city and not a huge metropolis.
Just like in a real-world party, there are great people and not so great people. So this morning I took some time to clean most of the bots, spam and questionable content. It's been a fun experience that I'd love to share. My process has been the following:
Before doing so, I added a key system to fight against spam: anyone can still join ichi, but to do so, you'll need a key that you can get by sending me an email or buying it for $5. It's a system I've used on smol.pub and helps prevent the spam.
