I’ve spent the past 3 months resuscitating my personal website, which I started back in 2018. It’s hosted on Nearly Free Speech dot net. The service is described by its proprietor as “For people who want to change their own oil on their website.” I decided to finally dig in and bring it closer to what I’d always hoped it would be.
You can find it as https://myoldtweets.com
I like the domain, and I’m hoping to eventually build a repository containing ALL of my old tweets, and maybe even my historical Facebook posts dating back to ~2004. But I’m most happy with the fact that I’ve been able to finally get my iOS shortcuts based posting method working exactly as I want.
There’s pretty much nobody IRL with whom I can discuss my excitement on these matters. But now I’m also coming to the hardest part of all: actually getting down to writing what I have to say. Daring to try and have a voice.
It’s a good moment to try to speak up and have a voice.
