THE LATEST WEATHER FORECASTS INDICATE THAT A STRONG STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPING ACROSS THE ROCKIES WILL MOVE EAST AND BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF SEVERE WEATHER TO THE REGION ON TUESDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY...MAINLY WEST OF I-65. BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...THE COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE INTO FAR WESTERN KENTUCKY. THE COMBINATION OF THE FRONT...ALONG WITH INCREASING INSTABILITY AND VERY STRONG WINDS ALOFT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR ANOTHER LARGE SQUALL LINE TO DEVELOP. THE LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WILL SURGE EASTWARD THROUGH THE REGION TUESDAY NIGHT. AT THIS TIME...THIS STORM SYSTEM LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO THE ONE THAT AFFECTED THE AREA LAST WEEK. WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WINDS ARE THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WITH THE ACTIVITY FOR TUESDAY NIGHT. HOWEVER...GIVEN THE STRONG WIND FIELDS...THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT SOME ISOLATED TORNADOES COULD BE EMBEDDED WITHIN THE SQUALL LINE. NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO REVIEW YOUR SEVERE WEATHER SAFETY PLANS WITH YOUR FAMILY. KNOW HOW TO GET THE LATEST SEVERE WEATHER WARNING INFORMATION AND KNOW WHAT TO DO IF A WARNING IS ISSUED FOR YOUR COUNTY.
