Stricter water restrictions could be in the future for Lexington.
Kentucky American Water said Thursday the city could go into an
all out ban next week.

A weak frontal boundary is slowing making its way across the
Bluegrass and it will again spark showers and thunderstorms this
afternoon. The main shower activity should be confined to mainly
Eastern Kentucky with a few spotty showers across Central Kentucky.
The front will continue to push southward overnight. Drier air will
be slow to filter into the area, but a noticeable change will be
evident as we head into the holiday weekend. Look for milder
temperatures with highs in the mid 80's Friday and Saturday and
lower humidities for the UK kickoff game!
