What happened to Station? n months ago, @martin had to revamp the presentation just to keep a sensible number of posts on the front page. Now posts last for days. Just a slow week?
A related question, are there any new communities or services popping up in Geminispace?
I gotta say, from a personal perspective, this whole Gemini thing has been one hell of a rabbit hole. Sometimes I get the feeling I'm the only one digging. But that's okay. More fun for me.

I realize the correct answer is American Thanksgiving. Well, Happy Thanksgiving. · 2 weeks ago
Station is sometimes just slow paced. I don't know about you guys, but I rather like it that way :) · 2 weeks ago
I'm really slowly starting a Gemini/gopher server aim toward spiritual / creative personal development

I am not too sure it will thrive as it's really niche but giving it a try. · 2 weeks ago
That said, one of the main complaints I have about this space is the difficulty in 'finding' ... communities, pages, like-minded sorts, etc. some of that might come from the smaller userbase... or it might be by design. At the very least, outside of the algorithmicly-curated bins we get sorted into on Big Socials, the "lonely way" represents what the mostly-uncurated experience is like. (I say mostly, because right now we're full of early adopters and people who can figure out the tech) · 2 weeks ago
I'm on gemini becaues digital minimalism ought to yield more value in my local social spheres. A thanksgiving weekend with lower posting indicates something of a success, for the smolweb concept, no? · 2 weeks ago
I agree, likely just a slow week. topic based discussions are probably over on BBS. · 2 weeks ago
My own impression is the opposite of it. In the past couple of days Station indeed might've gone stale: could be Thanksgiving/weekend — many are taking their time off away from computets, but otherwise it feels more active than usual: there aren't many top-level, posts — that is true, but look — a lot of them have more than five replies, three have more than a dozen, and unlike the usual "indication of interest", this looks like active discussions! · 2 weeks ago
