Trump is God

People voted Trump like they believe in god. Not a lot, they mostly don't think about it.

The whole god thingy, all it does is inflate statistics that are dumb enough to ask humans to report their own beliefs as booleans. No, really, they'll actually answer the question, it's amazing. Spend 10 seconds staring 1m away in the general direction of a wall and check the checkbox trying to convince themselves that they have a solid opinion.

I don't think people often take decisions related to the realness of god. And if they were to, many that checked the checkbox would not be very confident about it. So it doesn't matter that they're not thinking into it that much.

The whole vote thingy, all it does is -

Anyways, what I mean is that it doesn't matter if people voted Trump with low conviction (the low conviction is for the people. Trump is with a lot of convictions)

The vote doesn't ask for a normalized float. Not that people would be able to self-report one anyways. Look at what happens to "1 to 5" ratings: people just use the 1 and the 5, and then add that they would like a 0 and 6.

It's not something that the quantity of voters will flatten out. It changes the way you optimize your campaign, as a fully honest person that just wants the best for their country. The worst is that a fully honest person would actually have to go through this shit.

You don't actually need to convince people strongly. You want to keep a constant noise of militantism, but that can be achieved through a culture of making noise rather than very motivated militants. Or through outright algorithm manipulation and paid posters while you're there. Probably less harmful. You would just have to restore a correct algorithm, or stop paying people. Changing discourse back to non-stupid levels will actually take multiple generations. If it was ever non-stupid.

Oh my god - I just thought of the worst possible title

There's a uri that won't need a number to be unique

And you shouldn't convince people strongly. The fanatics aren't actually helping, I think they're pushing people away more than attracting new voters. They only attract already acquired voters. If Trump was good, he wouldn't have them.

He doesn't need to be good, being elected is also a boolean.

"you're allowed to moderately grace yourself because you're moderately popular" would have been fun.

Anyways, the big loosers in all of that will be The Onion

Also what's up with the whole "eating the onion" ? Red onions taste good. I mean, cooked. I haven't tasted raw ones. Nor white ones. Maybe it's the white ones. But the red/purple ones can def be bitten into if cooked properly.
