Useful features aren't glitzy,
glitzy features aren't useful.
True hackers aren't flamers;
flamers aren't true hackers.
Programmers aren't language lawyers;
language lawyers aren't programmers.
Hackers aren't software hoarders:
the more they do for others,
the more they have for themselves;
the more they give to others,
the more they keep for themselves.
The way of Unix is sharp,
but doesn't injure;
the hacker's way is to serve
and not to strive.
