I'd venture to bet one or both of those places (+ more) are in Kokomo, Indiana, as that seemed like a place where smoke aroma is the last of their worries.
I've been to Kokomo, and thus know of what you typed. But, alas, the venues of which I typed were farther north.
I'm chuckling, because I heard the lyrics "Indiana wants me; Lord I can't go back there" many times as a young lad, never suspecting they'd eventually literally apply.
Speaking of derangement, last night I finally figured out what "TDS" actually is. Too it it's a topic of which We Must Not Type.... <coughs>
