That sounds like an awesome day! I need to get a new bike. I used to ride a Schwinn Prelude everywhere, but then social pressure forced me to get a car and then later the bike crapped out on me and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
That's a really pity! There's nothing nicer when the weather is good. That's kind of rare here too so I suppose that makes it extra special. Mines a Montague fold up bike. Like yourself, I had to get a car, but the bike came after so I chose a bike I could fold up and put in the boot.
