Lagrange is the best Gemini browser but the best browser for access to other cool protocols is Agregore but it is not very stable right now since it is pre-release
I use vim becuase it is bundled into pretty much ever unix OS and it has great key binding and is very lightweight
VScode for most things but vim for this website :)
I use Lagrange (when I want a GUI) and Amfora, when I feel like I want to use my terminal and I think they are both great. One disadvatage to Amfora is it only supports Gemini meaning you can't view Gopher sites using it currently
