For years its been a dream of mine to write something every day. Even if it is just a few paragraphs down on paper and publish it.
Why? For one, it will help hone the skill of writing. However its more difficult than I'd want. Perhaps its the fear of not writing something interesting or novel. It is not my intention to simply spit out the same words over and over again.
It is easy, especially if your learning matches a particular stereotype.
If you overlap the readings of your friend group, it becomes an echo chamber of stale ideas.
So where can you ensure that the ideas that bounce in your head are truly novel. You need to read far and wide in order to hone a unique perspective. Perspective and thought comes from rethinking norms and norms don't come from reading the same things.
But reading broadly and thinking deeply can get you some interesting insights.
Well maybe.
