I've been keeping an eye out for Tamarack trees, and I took these photos a few weeks ago:

The above photos were taken without any post-processing, except resizing.
I should provide some information about my "new" camera. It is a COOLPIX AW130 model. Very similiar to the last one that I had, except that (1) it is 5x zoom max instead of 8x, and (2) the camera is embedded completely inside the case. Supposedly it can be used underwater, but I haven't had any need or desire to give that a try.
