Hello Geminauts! I?d like to announce that I?ve created a Gemini client for MacOS. It?s a graphical client that uses native OS UI elements. You can check it out at https://github.com/dealpete/sputnik I?ve written a little gemlog post about some of my design decisions here gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space/users/dealpete/ It?s still a work in progress, missing a few features like client-side certificates, but it?s sufficient to explore the majority of the current Gemiverse. If anyone tries it out, I?m happy to receive feedback, and feel free to post issues on the Github page. Best Regards, Peter

Please let me know if I can help you get unstuck on anything; I know the Apple dev world pretty well. > I?ve written a little gemlog post about some of my design decisions here > > gemini://gemini.circumlunar.space/users/dealpete/ You mentioned in your post that SwiftUI lacks some capabilties compared to AppKit, and that's true. In its first release year it has really been kind of a preview. This year's release does a lot to make it feel more complete. That's currently in Xcode 12 beta. Here's an introduction to the changes (video + transcript): https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2020/10041/
