Chances of me installing and attempting to re-familiarize myself with Emacs eons since last time are pretty slim.

Trust me, I don't expect anybody to learn or re-learn Emacs. I might be an acolyte of the Church of Emacs, but I'm not particularly inclined toward evangelism. I just do my own thing, mainly.
