Midnight Pub

the next non-sense

Even a non-sense. If its carefully prepared and nicely done. It can be fun.

A little list, to note the missing stuff:

When turning into the alley i notice a car passing on the main street has snow on the roof. The cold is here. Snow is yet to come. I walk towards the pub, half way down the alley i stop.

So many leaves laying around. Remains of the autumn. I pile them up and the wind blows it apart. The rakes are really nice. Light to hold, teeth nicely spread apart, all wooden. Handmade. Its fun to work with such a tool. In my language there is a saying, saying:“Če imaš grablje, potrebuješ tudi vile”. Admiring the structure of wood. The bark had to be stripped from the branch, leaving the wooden structure unchanged. I would want that kind of tool for myself.

I put it back.

Like little lost i wonder towards the pub.

Did you freeze?

The ping ~bartender had sent, brought me back. I was standing next to the jukebox, facing the wall, empty glass in my hand.

I fell in a maze. The last compass brought me places... I turn around,

Yes. Yes, pleas - another one.

With slow steps i return to the bar and switch the empty glass. I pull my ass on the seat. Hm. I am not sure. Some is rock solid: I am in a virtual bar. In a virtual city. And i dont feel at all like going home.

I moved into the grey skyscraper (the neocities servers) and its nice and affordable and bath-tub with warm water 24/7. I think the guys from the Secession would call that Fluxus.

The stuff i write here is visible on gopher, gemini and clear-web - while the grey skyscraper serves data only to the clear-web. Lets see. Maybe i re-think the purpose of the spaces. Maybe i can make a grow-room in there... But that would mean only more work. Lets see. Maybe i can think of some other public service or give the place some other meaning...

I feel like at home here...

"Gostilna, gostilna, gostilna je moj dom!" Traditionally in my culture the fear parents had was, that the child would end up in a bar... Luckily i dont have a mom or a dad - since i am a made up profile. But as a pseudonym - i do have a Chad. To ask for advice? Last time i asked Chad for advice, i sold all my polkadot and bought some shitcoin... But if i leave the past behind and postpone the important decisions for some days - we are just ending the moon-cycle. And now the compass will guide me.

The scent of the drink makes me think of India.

Hm. The thing that was killing the culture, reminds me of the culture. Sounds a bit absurd. I make a sip and the compass guides me to the jukebox.
