Magherafelt were left to hang on at home to Lavey for their second win
of the campaign.
It took eight points from Shane Heavron in an exciting finish at Rossa
Park.
When Heavron hit the post with a early goal chance, Paddy McLarnon
pounced to finish to the net on way to a 1-2 to Rossa lead.
Dan Higgins and Conall Heron also added points for a 1-7 to 0-4
interval lead before Lavey hit back.
Ryan Mulholland’s 1-1 tally helped them back into the game with points
from Rory McGill and Patrick McGurk levelling matters at 1-7 each.

Lavey at bay with Louis Regan’s range of kickouts a factor for the
visitors.
The sides were level four times in the second half with Heavron’s
eighth putting Magherafelt ahead before Lavey failed to take their late
