Sorted out my meds and feeling really relieved that I'm on Medicaid these days. Sleep has long been shit, which is making it easier and easier to become overwhelmingly fatigued or enter a fatigue crash.
Things have been going pretty well with the plants! I lost the spider plant and string of pearls, but the rest are doing fantastic. Currently we have, oh gosh:
- Lavendar
- Basil (which my wife recently used in some delicious basil buttercream that went on top of some brownies, along with some chocolate ganache)
- Mint (teeeaaaa)
- Rosemary (yummm)
- Petunias, which are doing SUPER well
- Cosmos, which had two sprouts? So I finally just put the second, smaller one into its own pot to see if it thrives better
- Marigolds
- And a medley of plants that my wife's mom gifted us in a really big planter. I recognize some small petunias, but not much else.
- A sedum medley I keep indoors in the living room
- A small cactus in my room
- an airplant in my room
- and a small heart shaped succulent on the kitchen bar
That's so many plants!! I had just 4 in San Francisco, so I've really grown with planting/gardening! I want more!!!!!
I also find that taking care of the plants REALLY calms me down. I did not expect that
I also applied for my passport recently
