I kidna' want to learn to play the Hurdy Gurdy. The only thing really stopping me is that even an inexpensive one comes in at just under $1000. That's a lot to spend on something I don't even know how to play. o.O

@fripster Oh yeah, Reverse Dance is one of my favorite hurdy gurdy songs. One of the ones that inspires me to want to learn to play. 路 9 months ago

@fripster Same, it's one of the things that draws me to it. Initially I wanted to learn the violin, but I found out I'm physically incapable of holding one correctly. (my wrists will only rotate 180掳, so I can't finger the neck) . I breifly considered learning something like the cello, but then I heard a hurdy gurdy and it just pulled me in. Unfortunately, the're also far more expensive than a violin or cello, so it's going to be a lot harder for me to land one. 路 10 months ago

@edanosborne I have now. I love near the end where he runs out of keys to take the notes higher he just opens the thing up and uses his fingers. LOL! 路 10 months ago

Have you seen that video where a guy plays "Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera on a hurdy gurdy?
