our golden age of having things
nicely cluttered with oblivion
qualifies those of us with things
as those who get to have nice things
blending out our beings, seeing
only those conformingly
in demonstrations by the lee
outermost of onion skins

transparent, thin, that taking cell
spread before our agonies
no home, no harvest, no garden here
in the nicest of our forgeries
ringing last-most as the bell
in dome of sky claims also fear
no differences permitted

no abeyance nor quick-witted
saviors rounded up and spitted
