look, sometimes if it feels bad

get out  �� if it seems like everyone ��s looking
get out  �� if the vibe off, if the birds are silent
if the dreams are wild, if the drunks are bally
if the child in tears turns its eyes your way
if the sweet old man goes blank in the face
if your friends of twenty long years all say
it ��s always been this way, no doubt

lay down your drink
lay down your plate
lay down your very appetite
