Time To Go

upon street corner, a person mumbling
somewhere between rage and despair
how their blocks were for others �� protection
that if the art and words unlocked did flow
t ��would be a frivolous stream
unending but for food or sleep
how they ��d love their creations
each dearly released unto the world
but somewhere, a small park would open
full of great and terrible wonders
where in fear, one might stranded
gaze upon the fallen flights, nattering
and tremble  �� better to be stuck, to strand
one ��s own wildness behind this raving

where six years past, and twenty countries
that key I ��d found grew warm in pocket
trembled slightly, as though I ��d known
finding it under hill of leaves and grass
this moment would weep and diminish
should I let it pass in silence, forgotten
warmed once again and fluttering
handed over with a grin and coffee
we are each other ��s nightmares
but someone loves that brazen grass
searching for it endless, endless
their picks in wood and trembling feathers

awaiting path
time to go
