Bloodless Cuts

solar radiance, lunar blush
both settled slow beyond stilled mountains
while over drifting fells we rush
jingling against long silences
caroling along those narrow ways
hills to forest, welcome, welcome
two long months, two long months
well blessed under darkness
ambience resplendent thus
eyes �� milk-washed frost gone glorious
come sleighers, join in sweetest trust
our grip so soft, our voice un-hushed
across that wilderness sonorous
we bring good tidings
sing, o sing with us
