i tried to catch my drone out of the air. one of its legs was not properly fixed, so it glitched out of my hands and the propeller blades slit my finger joint three times. can’t type on a computer, but thumbs only typing on the phone works. 🙃 that’s a first for me…

@zongi7 i have mine for the exact same reason: take pictures and videos of projects and size things up before ordering material or excavations. also good for tree counting (and the loss after storms). i have a dji mini se2. it was around 200 dollars or so at a black friday sale. it is very small. no 4k video, hd only. it is so light that it doesn’t fall under most regulations making it very easy to use without any paperwork or what not. · 2 months ago
@breakfast_champion exactly! i did have gloves nearby for other reasons but stupid me didn’t think about putting them on first. falconer gloves would be overkill and i do like overkill. · 2 months ago
I have been thinking of getting a drone to get overhead views of progress on the homestead. Any recendations? · 2 months ago
You need one of those cool leather gloves falconeers use. · 2 months ago
Yikers, heal up. I had a boss reach out for a Phantom 3 and get all sliced up too. · 2 months ago
